Part M: Access For Disabled People
Most people should be aware of the difficulties that face disabled people in enjoying as near normal a life as possible. Access to buildings, special toilets and the like are important components in achieving this objective. However, these facilities do not just happen. Commercial reluctance to provide these facilities has meant that they are now required by regulation. These requirements assist the disabled, including those who have impaired hearing or sight.
